Butterscotch & Pecan Buns

This is one of those bakes you’ll struggle to keep in stock past lunchtime! Soft spirals of enriched dough wrapped around a sweet caramel filling, glazed with rich butterscotch and finished with crunchy candied pecans. Stack them high on the counter and let the smell of sweet doughy butterscotch do all the work.

Lean in close and you get warm butterscotch and caramel first, followed by roasted nut from the pecans and that unmistakable fresh-baked bread note underneath.

The flavour is sweet but properly balanced, with deep caramel running all the way through and a toasted, nutty finish from the pecans.

Soft, light and airy inside. Sticky and moist on the outside where the butterscotch glaze has settled. Then that crunch from the candied pecans for contrast.
