This irresistibly adorable Easter-inspired Small Batch is the perfect addition to your spring counter!

A dense chocolate fudge sponge is studded with pockets of creamy white chocolate chunks throughout, adding a lovely flecked contrast. We’ve then topped each slice with a hand-piped swirl of eggshell blue white chocolate frosting, filled the centre with a drop of gooey caramel, nestled two speckled mini eggs within and finished with a scattering of crispy feuilletine.

Feeling eggstra decadent? Why not pair with a Blendsmiths hot chocolate with all the trimmings (we’re thinking, whipped cream, marshmallows and crushed mini eggs for good measure...)

A dense but moist dark chocolate sponge, dotted with white chocolate chunks. Each square is topped with an a fluffy white chocolate buttercream nest which has a slight duck egg colour to it. Finished with a dark and silky caramel, mini eggs and crispy wafer

  • PHYSICAL: A dark brown square of chocolate cake, topped with a piped nest of white chocolate buttercream which has a hint of duck egg blue. The nest is filled with dark caramel and topped with pastel coloured mini eggs. The slice is then topped with a sprinkling of crispy wafer.
  • SMELL: Intense aroma of chocolate, from the cake and the buttercream, sweetness coming from the caramel and mini eggs.
  • TASTE: rich and creamy flavours from the chocolate cake and white chocolate buttercream. Sweet and inesnse flavours coming from the caramel. Milky flavour from the milk chocolate eggs and biscuity notes from the crispy wafer.
  • TEXTURE: A dense but springy sponge, studded with white chocolate chunks, topped with a light buttercream and a silky caramel. Mini eggs give it a crunch from their outter shell and all a biscuit crunch from the crispy wafer
