A soft, cloud-like sponge is doused in sunny lemon flavour and dotted with pockets of juicy whole blackberries throughout. Each scrumptious slice is expertly hand-piped with a squiggle of velvety lilac-hued buttercream delicately infused with fresh botanical elderflower. We’ve then finished this Small Batch with a sprinkle of jewel-toned freeze-dried blackberries and a sunny medley of dried marigold and cornflower petals.

A feather-soft lemon sponge dotted throughout with dark, sharp blackberries, sliced into 18 generous portions and hand-piped with the fluffiest elderflower buttercream in the palest shade of lilac.

  • PHYSICAL: Faint lilac, cloud-soft sponge studded with deep red blackberries, each slice hand-piped with a squiggle of pale elderflower buttercream. Scattered with crushed freeze-dried blackberries and finished with a mix of vivid orange marigolds and blue cornflowers. A slice that stops people in their tracks before they've even tasted it.
  • SMELL: Fresh lemony brightness from the sponge, with sweet, delicate floral notes of elderflower drifting through.
  • TASTE: A clean, sweet-sharp lemon hit from the sponge, with pops of blackberry throughout. Floral elderflower in the buttercream, and a bright, tangy zing from the freeze-dried blackberries on top.
  • TEXTURE: Feather-light sponge, fluffy and airy buttercream, with a satisfying little crunch from the freeze-dried blackberries. Soft all the way through until that final bite.
