"These plump golden cookies offers a rich buttery marzipan aroma. This follows through to the palate, with a satisfying interplay of richly sweet squidgy frangipane and well-judged salty miso.

Though the crispy almond topping is notably scant, the judges enjoyed the rich almond flavour, buttery chewy texture and welcome addition of miso in this rich, nutty cookie dough.These cookies had a lovely artisan appearance with a generous sprinkling of almonds. There was plenty of almond on the nose. The texture was chewy and delivered waves of flavour. It was very addictive."
