
Rarebit Croissant
Ever wished your morning pastry had more cheese?... Wish no more!
Inspired by the Welsh delicacy, this mouthwatering savoury treat makes the ultimate quick brunch or lunch option. We've taken a crisp and flaky croissant, split it down the middle and packed it with oozey, cheesy goodness. Our Rarebit mixture is filled with sharp cheddar cheese, a touch beer, a healthy splash of tangy Worcestershire sauce and a spoonful of sweet onion jam. (You could eat it off a boot it's that good...) Each croissant is then topped with more rarebit mixture, a bit more cheese for good measure and a sprinkle of chives.
These are delicious simply thawed overnight, but we do recommend popping in an oven for 5 to 10 mins at 220C to unleash all the crispy delicious cheesy goodness.
We did make these to celebrate Father's Day, but they're too good to share...
