We've Improved Our Website

Our updated website is here, and it comes with a fresher and more intuitive design, improved search and navigation, beautiful imagery, and most importantly, enhanced security for your account.

 

What does this mean for you? 

The way you log in has changed slightly. Instead of using a password, you just need to enter your email address, and we’ll send you a one-time-use verification code to log in.

 

No passwords to remember, and a much safer way to protect your account and business information.

STEP 1

Get started by heading to cakesmiths.com/account/login.

STEP 2

Here you'll be asked to enter your email address. This is the email address that you usually log into your account with.

STEP 3

You'll receive an email containing a 6-digit verification code to the email address your account is registered to. Pop the code into the box and you're in!

This new system of verification codes will replace your old password and ensure your account stays secure.

 

Are there any changes to the ordering process? 

Our ordering process will feel familiar, but with some updates to the look and functionality. You’ll now find it even easier to pick your delivery date and choose from multiple site addresses. Offering a smoother, smarter process for your business. 

 

My password doesn’t work / I can’t find where to put it! 

We’ve gone password-less for better security and an easier login experience. Instead of entering a password, you’ll receive a secure one-time code via email each time you log in. Simple, safe, and no forgotten passwords ever again. 

 

My team places orders for my café—can they still log in? 

Absolutely! You can now add multiple email addresses to one Cakesmiths account. Just drop us an email at support@cakesmiths.com, and we’ll get your team set up. Whether you’re running one site or ten, you can manage all your cake orders from one shared account.  

 

The website isn’t sending me a passcode. What should I do? 

Make sure: 

- You've typed your email correctly. 

- You’ve checked your junk/spam folder. 

Still stuck? Let us know on support@cakesmiths.com, and we’ll get you buying cake in no time! 

 

I don’t have access to the email where the code was sent. Help! 

No stress! Email us at support@cakesmiths.com, and we can add extra email addresses to your account. We’ll have you logged in buying cakes in no time. 

 

How do I add another delivery address? 

Go to your Account page and click on Profile (top right corner). Under Delivery Addresses, hit the plus (+) to add as many locations as you need. It’s all in one place for easy access. 

 

I need to edit my account details. How do I do that? 

Simply log in, go to Profile under your account, and you’ll be able to update all your business details, including addresses, contacts, and more. 

 

Where is my account number? 

You don’t need one anymore! 

Your email address is now your key to everything. 

 

Will my previous order history still be available? 

Yes! All order information from the past two years is safely stored in your new account. Whether you’re checking last week’s bestsellers or reordering a crowd-pleaser from a few months ago, it’s all just a click away. 

 

The website is down, and I need to place an order! 

As we move over to our new digital home, there may be a little downtime (but we’re doing everything we can to keep this to a minimum). We recommend placing any orders ahead of time to avoid any disappointment.  

 

Is this how I’ll log in every time? 

Yes! You’ll enter your email and receive a one-time code each time you log in. It’s quick, secure, and no passwords required. 

 

How can my staff log in if they don’t have access to my email? 

Get in touch with us at support@cakesmiths.com, and we’ll add individual email logins for your staff. It’s perfect for teams across multiple locations, or when you just want to delegate the cake ordering! 

 

I want to add another email address - should it be a business or personal one? 

We recommend a business email for security purposes, but we can easily add any email you prefer. Need to update or remove one later? No problem, pop us an email at support@cakesmiths.com

 

What about my Brownie Points?

Don't worry! Your old points collection has been carried over to your updated account, ready for you to redeem on delicious brownies, blondies and flapjacks!
