Strawberry Trifle

Nothing says Great British Pud quite like a trifle, we've taken the nostalgic flavours of this quintessentially British dessert and put them into cake form.
 
We've started off on a base of soft custard-flavoured Madeira sponge, then we've slathered a layer of thick and luscious vanilla creme pat, if that's not enough we've then added another layer of sticky and sweet sherry-infused strawberry jam. Each towering slice is topped with a fluffy cream cheese frosting, freeze-dried strawberries, a drizzle of strawberry jam and a sprinkle of toasted almond flakes.
