Afternoon Tea Muffins
Mother's Day is synonymous with bunches of brightly coloured tulips, (badly) hand-drawn cards and afternoon tea. To help you celebrate, we've created a gorgeous muffin inspired by the quintessential flavours of the Great British Afternoon Tea.
We've taken a super soft vanilla sponge base and packed the centre with a oozey sweet strawberry jam. Each golden muffin is topped with a hand-piped rosette of rich and creamy clotted cream frosting and a sprinkle of dried flower petals. These muffins pair perfectly with a selection finger sandwiches and a pot of tea (or bottle of bubbly).
