Project Waterfall Update

Between the 12 – 15th April we will be exhibiting at our 5th London Coffee festival. This huge industry event signals the start of the show season for us and is made even more special this year for a number of reasons.

Firstly, it hails the start of UK Coffee week and the focus of fundraising activity for Project Waterfall a charity we are again proud to be involved in this year. Awareness of the fantastic Project is really gathering momentum and a record number (nearly 500) coffee shops have committed to raise funds this year!

To celebrate our involvement, we will launch our ‘Waterfall cake’ the ‘Espresso Caramel Brownie’ at the Festival. It will take key elements from the popular product it replaces the ‘Espresso Cheesecake Brownie’ that helped to raise £1162.50 for the project in 2017 by donating 50 pence for every tray sold. The espresso we use is the wonderful Ethiopian Biftu Gudina roasted by Clifton Coffee and is a nod to the first fully funded water project undertaken by Project Waterfall in Oromia region Ethiopia. Again, we will be donating proceeds from its sale to coffee shops all over the Country so if you have missed to opportunity to fundraise this year or simply want to support this great charity all year round you can by simply buying this stunning product.

Lastly this year we have got a joint stand with our good friends and suppliers at Clifton Coffee to bring your coffee and cake pairing.
